because shigure is a manipulative little shit honestly. if he dated another girl besides akito then HEY GUESS WHAT, maybe he can make akito even more jealous and angry at him. but also i think its because there was a small small part of shigure that wanted to try to move on, to see if maybe this love he had for akito was all wrong and he just had to see if that was the case. its like when two people dating take a break to see if the feelings are still there. he had to date someone else at least once to see if there was anything else he felt for others. alas there was not tho, sucks to be you akito you’re stuck with him.
