Okay I know you haven't kept up with Another and have no desire to read it buttt based on recent developments on how Shigure & Akito's kid Shiki is acting around the new main girl Sawa (and how she seems to have her memory erased) there's theories floating around that she's either AkiGure's kid they were forced to give up (due to Ren) or Shigure's love child from an affair, if it's the latter how do you think Shigure would react to a kid he had with someone else vs one he has with Akito?

welp i have some headcanon news from lyd to you dear anon – our ship don’t get any biological kids, her akito had her uterus removed when she was young as a way for her mother to keep her more male, less womanly things, yada yada. 

in the ‘ if things did happen that way ‘ i will say this : shigure understands akito’s issues and feelings about her mother and they would never give up a child due to ren’s demands.

as an affair child, shigure would honestly let the child live out its life without him. he wasn’t there for them and he wouldn’t force himself on them. memory erased means they wanted a life without him or it was decided he wasn’t worth being in their life. so he would take a moment and just – ‘ oh thats them … its good to know they’re okay ‘ and move himself along. he has his own kid and life to handle.
