he makes a soft sound, the feelings behind it unknown as he stands in the doorway. he expected nothing else from hatori, the dragon only wished for akito’s safety. their relation balanced on the edge of a knife, if hatori got too close to akito then shigure knew that friend or not people had to be cut out to keep things how they should be.

slow steps move shigure towards the woman ( she was no child anymore, grown but yet unable to show her potential ), hands tucked behind his back as his gaze never leaves her. its slow circles around her, careful, watchful, before he comes to a stop at her side, a lopsided smile that didn’t look trustworthy at all on his lips.

‘    —- you know hatori knows me so well, don’t you akito ??    ‘        each word is carefully said, eyes drifting from her form to the floor and out the window.        ‘    he wants to make sure you’re safe, and the dog is known to be a predator.    ‘        he takes his hands and shifts them now, the dog taking one and capturing one of akito’s in his fingers. bringing them to his lips he presses them softly against her before looking up again, the look in his eye sure as ever.
