seducing akito is a weird thing. not that he wouldn’t want to but hes got her so messed up and wrapped up that seducing her is too hard but also too easy. you can’t just strip down with her, you have to wind her anger up and then let her go by walking away. literally. post curse its different !! he puts in a little more effort but he still doesn’t try too hard. he’ll light candles around the room when he just feels like it and i’m sure when their dogs aren’t trying to catch themselves on fire ( yes they get dogs and shigure slightly regrets ) it usually starts to help set the mood. @fatedgod

a lot of it is just how much he wants to hold her. doesn’t even need to be anything too intimate, just holding her close because god he wants her so badly ??? later on they get dirty if she’s a shit to him when they talk but mostly just – cuddles, holding her, kissing her against the wall – daydreams escalate after all. @fatedgod

EYE EMOJI HERE. so we’ll start with akito !! because shigure puts on his sly smile and lets himself be genuinely happy with her ?? like not his goofball idiot happy but his happy happy, his calm and truthful happy. with hatori he can be himself unlike everyone else, and it also brings out his own truthful happy again. like he doesn’t act any different between them but compared to the people he doesn’t have interest in he lets himself be natural, his real self shines through and honestly its ?? really nice. @fatedgod // @fateddragcn

what sucks is that unless he has a use for them or is attracted to them he’ll just totally … pass on them. like, deadpan pass. sorry i don’t think of you that way and walk away. hes really not the most gentle guy. when hatori and him got together it wasn’t even really a ‘ hey i like you ‘ thing, they just ended up at a festival together and kissed, and it went from there ?? like confessions to him seem pointless because he has his eyes set on two people. the end. soz hes a roodytoot arse. @fateddragcn

okay so – early on its not much. akito was so attached to him that there were no doubts. but then kureno happens. and things start to fall apart and thats when he starts to realize that what hes done so far caused this and that MAYBE akito will hate him in the future for this. he’s afraid that someone will slap sense into akito’s face and make him leave shigure in the end. @fatedgod

i was about to say this is really tough because he isn’t attracted to anyone but akito AND THEN I REMEMBERED THE NOODO DREGGIN. so lets go.
( fact : i had to find someone else besides akito bc akito could have ANY PERSONALITY TRAIT and he’d be attracted bc i hate shigure so here we go here we go – )because shigure is such a … wild character in a sense, he finds himself attracted to people who can calm and ground him. he wants to push limits all the time and the more someone can ground him and settle those down is good. they have to be smart. like … not genius smart but intelligent enough to take him on. he likes the challenge from someone and it honestly makes him want to be around them more and more if they can hold that challenge. there’s prolly more but those are the first key ones that came to mind !!

shigure is very bodily expressive. often more than now his eyes and eyebrows will reflect his moods but he also is prone to pull a french / italian and talk with his hands as well ( swinging his hand from his wrist to motion for people to move on for example ), and his posture can get outright tense when he’s angry.
24. How do they present themselves socially? What distinguishes their “persona” from their “true self”, and what causes that difference?
hilary asking the hella shigure questions today ( well weeks ago but still ) – shigure has to live in what he calls his persona, the playful cheerful self that most people see. under that is his true self that only shows when the moment calls for it, his darker more manipulative side. the difference however is very easy : if you’re close and he wants you – you’ll see his true self. otherwise he’ll play the cheerful part.

1. How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?
shigure usually runs on high energy. he has a bounce to his step and can skip and hop from person to person. though he is well known for being laidback and lazy too, so there are definitely days where he slouches and more so drags his feet wherever he goes. it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the energy, he is just unwilling to use it.
2. How much physical space do they use, active and at rest?
shigure can swing from one spectrum of this to the other. on an average day of high energy and being well … shigure, he takes up a lot of space. he’s thrown himself at others in embraces, he’s left piles of books everywhere. other days when hes more calm he takes up much mess room, he’ll pull his legs close to his form when he sits, won’t touch anything or anyone he doesn’t need to.
15. What kind of inner life do they have — rich and imaginative? Calculating and practical? Full of doubts and fears? Does it find any sort of outlet in their lives?
eye emojis @ u x 3000 – shigures more unseen and inner life is his manipulative asshole self. its less an inner life and more just that he never shows it to anyone but akito and hatori and his bitter words at kureno. so it definitely has its outlet !! just not a good one ofc.

shigure has ALWAYS been one for his books. when he started reading it took him to a place where he could sit and pretend the rest of the world didn’t exist. it became a base part of him which is why he writes them now too. while he was growing up it did help with his intelligence and grades, but once he was an adult it started to make him seem less social. he started to write them instead of reading them all the time which gave him more time to socialize ( against his editors preference ).
good things from this all : hes smarter. was more able to manage himself and his apathetic nature when young.
bad things from this all : he was much more antisocial as a child. seemed less approachable by others.
