‘ —— you know i can’t stay kureno. if i want to be a novelist i need a few further schoolings after all, right ?? ‘ bags are being packed, he hasn’t told anyone in the family he was leaving besides ayame and hatori, the latter having to attend schooling to be a doctor soon as well. he can feel the bond pulling against him though, telling him DON’T, to STOP NOW — shigure is so deadset on leaving though that he ignores the phantom pain in himself to go over to his dresser and start pulling out different shirts.

12. How are they bodily expressive? How do they use nonverbal cues such as their posture, stance, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, and hands?
shigure is very bodily expressive. often more than now his eyes and eyebrows will reflect his moods but he also is prone to pull a french / italian and talk with his hands as well ( swinging his hand from his wrist to motion for people to move on for example ), and his posture can get outright tense when he’s angry.
24. How do they present themselves socially? What distinguishes their “persona” from their “true self”, and what causes that difference?
hilary asking the hella shigure questions today ( well weeks ago but still ) – shigure has to live in what he calls his persona, the playful cheerful self that most people see. under that is his true self that only shows when the moment calls for it, his darker more manipulative side. the difference however is very easy : if you’re close and he wants you – you’ll see his true self. otherwise he’ll play the cheerful part.

‘ oh you poor soul !! ‘ theres a wide grin on his face as he leans towards the other, his tone sarcastic as he spoke. he was bitter, against whatever the other had meant ( as a truthful worrying fact or a joke which the other rarely told ) and refused to be KIND in return. ‘ i guess thats what happens when you decide to leave us all behind. you had your chance to leave, saying no to her highness isn’t that hard. shes a brat anyways. ‘ he had helped make her that way, and loved how she was pushy and demanding of what she wanted, but still – kureno could have just as easily said no.
