glad you caught that !! akito does head the family, shigure is literally just a boyfriend / husband from there on. he doesn’t head the family per say but he co-heads it. he stays at the estate when akito is out on business and cares for their dogs ( shigure still is a dog person, what can i say ). so he does his best there, manages a lot of the workings and such.
